How To Fix Lag In Skyrim
As you know, I have been playing Skyrim since day one. This is the only game that has pull me away from MMORPGs in a very long time. As of now, being a Thief/Archer/Conjurer or Shade as I like to call it, has been extremely fun. This game does not play nice with the huge amount of bugs and technical issues. However, I found one of the best mods out there to help low/mid end computers. This mod will compress the vanilla textures with minimal detail loss. I am able to run the game in high with my old but trusty 5800 GT video-card.
If you are having problems with Skyrim, you should download TWSV Reduced Texture Pack and give it a try. This is recommended for people with 512 MB video cards. I made two videos trying to show the difference. Since I am not good at “frapsing” the first video looks quite terrible.

I decided to make another one to show more of the detail. This one does show the difference but it’s a bit choppy due to my computer struggling while recording this.
Please try to share this with as many people as you can. Skyrim is a game that needs to be played by everyone at least once.
