GamersFirst and 9Dragons
I was just reading on Massively about GamersFirst adquiring 9 Dragons. I think it’s very cool they will be adding new things to the game but I wonder if it’s a little too late. The time I tried the game I was excited but I was quickly turned off by the spam and terrible grinding. Granted, I never really gave the proper chance it deserved. They released two so called “new trailers“.
So, what exactly can you find in these two trailers? Each shows a character performing in-depth animations of a different style. I will admit they look pretty cool and it triggered my brain to remember The Matrix Online. For those that played that game, you must admit combat was rather different. It was a bit like “rock, paper, scissors” but the one thing that I always loved was watching the results.
Yes, it was very repetitive and tedious looking at the same thing over and over but I always enjoyed that kind of combat. It was different from the current MMOs at the time. Call me an idiot but I miss it.
I guess I am just beating the same old horse, but I just can’t hide it. I WANT DIFFERENT COMBAT DYNAMICS! I guess I will have to settle for animations. On a good note, is always good to see new changes and this might breath new life into 9Dragons.

This game sucks. Its only grind grind grind grind to the rate of 0.02% per mob. The PvP is broken, nukers rule everything.
The new publisher (gamersfirst) is worse than previous one (acclaim). They keep banning everyone from forum that is going against their opinions.
Lots of vets lost their characters because acclaim gave up on the game. Gamersfirst “promised” them to bring back the database from acclaim. But actually, according from inside information, the database is already in Gamersfirst hands. They are trying to set up a new community and once this is done, they will get back their old vets.
It was my biggest mistake i played this game for 3 years. Dont do the same.
