Piranha 3D: A Movie To Enjoy With Your Friends

Imagine yourself enjoying your Spring Break when all of a sudden, killer pre-historic piranhas start devouring the people around you. What do you do? Bring your damn shotgun and start blasting fishes and people left and right, that’s what you will do!

Leaving all silliness behind, this film is just a fun movie to watch with your friends. Specially if they are as immature as mine (cough, Wade and Bizarro, cough). The more intellectual KalibreOnline readers will definitely catalog this one as a dumb and stupid “campy” movie. Still, I appreciated the extreme gore effort, nods to other films (Richard Dreyfuss) and the inclusion of actresses that are not nearly as famous as other mainstream Hollywood girls. All I am saying it was very cool to see Gianna Michaels, Ashlynn Brooke and Rile Steele. I am very sure some scenes were edited out. If you watch the trailer you can see Ashlynn in the cheerleader outfit but I never saw that scene in the movie. Blu-Ray and DvD extras I tell you.

This is not a kids movie so be sure to take that in mind when going to the movies. If you do decide to watch this movie enter the auditorium expecting nothing but gratuitous nudity and cheap thrills. Also remember you should never run a Jet Ski when people are near you or just randomly shoot Piranhas (or any fish) with a shotgun.
