Official Froyo (Android 2.2) On Droids

It is official! My Droid just asked me if I wanted to download a System Update. Nervously I said yes and for my delight it was the official release of Froyo on the Droid. Now I need to get that flash instalation on my trusty phone and I am good to go.

Don’t get me wrong I really want that Droid X but I am not eligible for an upgrade yet. Seems like I will have to root my phone to unlock its true potential. Hopefully it will not become self aware.
