Aika Online: Hands On

Aika is a new MMORPG in the form of F2P (Free to play) and is just another Korean grinder. Or is it? The game selling point is the gigantic pvp (player vs player) battles featuring up to 1000 vs 1000 on screen.  MMOHut released a first look video playing the game for a bit.

The game looks very beautiful but I can’t shake the feeling of “just another one”. One thing that I like about this game (on paper that is) is the Pran system. It reminds me of Link’s fairy companion, Navi.

I have embedded two videos. One is the MMOHut’s First Look and the other one is just a gameplay video taken directly from the game. This game looks very tempting but I am very short on time, you know, with the baby and all. However, I would love to hear what people playing the game have to say. Does it compare to Dark Age of Camelot or the RvR (Realm vs Realm) is more like Warhammer Online?
