StarCraft 2: Let The Beta Begin!
As you all know, StarCraft 2 Beta is live. I want to say congratulations for those that were selected -I was not among the lucky ones- and are helping Blizzard test this beast in the form of a game. If by any chance you have been living under a rock for 10 years, then this information might be useful to you.
The client weights around 1.60 gigs and the Mac client is still not available. You might want to check your PC before installing SC 2:
Requirements:
- Windows XP SP3/Vista SP1/Windows
- 7 2.2 Ghz Pentium IV or equivalent AMD Athlon processor
- 1 GB system RAM/1.5 GB for Vista and Windows 7
- 128 MB NVidia GeForce 6600 GT/ATI Radeon 9800 PRO video card 1024×768 minimum display resolution
- 4 GB free hard space (Beta) Broadband connection
Please remember that scammers are everywhere. When you get your invite, check that is
actually a beta invite from the Blizzard team. Get your excitement in check and double check the email and link, making sure that it’s not a phishing attempt. Assuming that you are still clueless about SC 2, enjoy the gameplay and trailer videos.
