Another One Bites The Dust
I’m almost level 80 but a sad story just happened to one of my friends; his account got hacked this morning. I wrote about my experience when my account got hacked and I still blame the merge somehow. Regardless, Blizzard took immediate action after my password was reset, the account was banned one minute after that. Pretty cool eh? Yea it was, for me.
My friend’s case was a lot different. All his characters were naked. Everything happened early in the morning. When he got the account back, the only thing left were the things that still didn’t sold in the Auction House. We did an investigation ourselves about what happened, you know, viruses and stuff. Everything seemed clean. So what really happened?
He bought gold. The temptation was too high and the long hours at work made the temptation a lot easier. A few months back he bought some gold to get the dual spec, epic mounts and a couple of different items for some of his ‘toons.
So now you know, those gold farmers are are working hard, and if you are not careful they will find you and steal your accounts. Don’t trust that “hot asian” girl that requested to be your friend in facebook. Oh, yea she is probably hot, in a complete different sense.
In all seriousness please avoid doing stupid stuff like this:
- Buying Gold.
- Using the same email and password from your WoW Account on Gold Selling Websites.
- Buying Gold.
- Sharing your account with other people you barely know.
- Buying Gold.
- Have i mention stop buying gold enough?
