Meet the ARToolkit
This is incredible! My virtual dreams might come a reality. Well, I am getting carried away but this video is amazing. The ARToolkit is using a “Virtual On” targeting system.
“Virtual On” was an arcade game made by SEGA.
In the game you controlled a robot and fought other robots. The controllers were unique and you could really feel that “mecha feeling” portrayed in Animes.
Anyway back to topic. Since it’s in Japanese I have no idea what’s the real use for the ARToolkit but can you imagine the possibilities? Check out the video.
WOW! >.< I can't wait till this is aquired by either NINTENDO or SONY, this is not the first time I see it but its the first time more applicable …
