Resonance of Fate By SEGA

I was interrupted early this morning by a friend that was literally screaming at me via MSN:

“DUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU NEED TO SEE THIS” – FRIEND
“Ok! What’s up?” – me

“I KNOW YOU BARELY PLAY CONSOLES BUT YOU GOTTA SEE THIS” – FRIEND
“Sure thing, what’s with the caps bro?” -me

“HERE !!! (link) WATCH IT AND TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK”-FRIEND
“Will do, but take the caps off, are you mad at me or something?” -me

“THIS IS HOW I TYPE NOW COOL HUH??” -FRIEND
“I am watching the vid, seems cool.  Talk to you later, I am working on a blog” -me

“NERD! OK MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111111” -FRIEND

Distracted by the screaming conversation on MSN and the hidden power of the Caps Lock, I closed all my windows including the blog I was previously writing; a very smart move on my part.  I will re-do my work later today, tomorrow or next week as I find it very annoying and exhausting doing everything twice because my brain neurons crashed.

Instead, let’s talk about Resonance of Fate, which I think has a very unique combat dynamic. The game is called End of Eternity in Japan and will come out for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.

The cinematic scenes in RF look great (Japanese games always have great CGs), hopefully the story will be top notch.  This is completely irrelevant but no other game (in my opinion) has ever matched the FF8 intro; I have no words to explain it:

According to Scrawl FX website the game will have a simultaneous release in both US and Europe in 2010.  The targeting system of the game reminds me a bit of Parasite Eve, to refresh the memory here is a small clip:
