Jumpgate Evolution

Jumpgate Evolution is deep space MMO currently being developed by NetDevil and published by Codemasters. The game is a sequel to Jumpgate and features a new graphics engine, JGE was scheduled to release in June ’09 but it has been delayed with no exact date. Evolution will offer a more active combat that should appeal to those against Eve’s mechanics and like many other games there is going to be Realm versus Relm (RvR) factional warfare in JGE’s gameplay, allowing players to claim sectors of space in the name of their respective nations.

It would not be my typical post without images and trailers, one of the videos shows a side by side comparison of Jumpgate Evoultion and Black Prophecy. The short movie could be biased towards BP but it’s an interesting video nonetheless.
