Will the guard dog ever make it to TF2?

Both Digg and Gameriot posted a link to a very hilarious site, it appears that a TF2 fan created an interesting idea for the game; a new class called The Guard Dog.

Is this for real and the Guard Dog make it to TF2 or just a glorified thank you from Valve ? For those that never tried Team Fortress 2, the game is an online FPS with a twist; you can select to play classes with different skills in maps that offer a variety of  objectives.  Click on the images to visit the different sites.
