Enraged Reviewer
There was no energy or motivation to post something tonight; but it turns out writing has been very therapeutic for me, so I will keep this entry very light. I received an msn instant message with a couple of videos that I found “kinda” funny.
Dragonball Evolution was received with mixed feelings (mostly hate), and have spawn very vocal reviews. Please welcome my favorite so far:
At first I had no idea why he was so angry about a movie; then I read the description and felt better. How many would have liked a DB movie like this?
Now that we are in the DB subject, the DB MMO will enter closed beta soon (around this month probably) and I will admit I was geeky enough to watch my fair share of DB episodes back in the day; until waiting for the smoke to clear after a fight took almost half the episodes and it became annoying. The online game will take place 200 years after the end of the manga and it seems you will start as a kid, grow and become an adult. The 3 available races will be: Nameks, Humans and Saiyans. Akira Toriyama is very involved in the project to make sure the “right db feeling” is the game. If my memory serves me right he was also involved in the character designs of Chrono Trigger ( an amazing SNES RPG made by Square).
